Join us in South Africa’s stunning Western Cape for a week long of yoga, relaxation and adventure!

Expect to feel rejuvenated and alive in body and mind, with a daily empowering yoga practice, nourishing vegan food and adventures around Cape Town!

We will be starting each morning with an invigorating 75 minute dynamic vinyasa flow and closing each day with a restorative flow and meditation.

Yoga classes are playful, honest and encouraging. Providing a welcoming space for students, both new and experienced, to find grounding and adventure on their mats. The sequences will be challenging yet attainable, encouraging each individual to achieve their goals in a safe and comfortable environment. Classes are open to all levels, adjustments and alternatives will be offered for those new to the practice and those seeking to explore a more advanced practice.

During the retreat we will also be exploring some of the Westerns Cape's stunning white sandy beaches, iconic mountains, and tranquil countrysides as well as soaking up the sunshine and creating memories and friendships that will last a lifetime.

The luxurious lake house is set in Noordhoek Valley within a secure eco-estate Nestled between Cape Town’s beautiful mountains and white sandy beaches, offering a perfect place to ‘retreat’ and escape the hustle and bustle.

This peaceful home rests on the edge of lake Michelle, with its own private garden, pool, hot tub, private access to the lake and stunning views.

Wake up to the view of the lake and close each day with the sunset over the mountains from the comfort of our own private house.
Enjoy lazy lakeside BBQ's, lounge on the sunbeds, take a dip in the pool or explore the lake by kayak. This property offers plenty of communal space for relaxing, soaking up the sun and enjoying the good vibes.
This peaceful setting also allows you to explore the eco-estates surrounding 22 hectares by foot along wooden walkways that meander through reed beds and ponds which are home to more that 120 species of birds as well as the fresh water otter.

Other properties are present on the lake, but due to the house design and the space created, we are able to feel that sense of tranquillity and escape and yet be close enough to be able to explore the beaches, mountains, and the countryside that the Western Cape offers.

The lake house offers private en-suite rooms and shared rooms depending on your budget and preferences.

Noordhoek is a beautiful, rural neighbourhood just five minutes from the white sands of Long Beach, picnicking and wine tasting at Cape Point Vineyards, and restaurants, shops, and play area at Noordhoek Farm Village

Here is a little bit about Chloe, your Retreat leader!

For the past 8 years I have travelled the globe training in, and teaching Yoga as well as leading Retreats. Like all of us, I am continually developing my practice, and integrating the lessons I learn on the mat into my daily life. My continuing journey has helped me become stronger in both body and mind and has allowed me to overcome many challenges in life, giving me the courage to be true to myself.
I find so much joy in playing and developing my own physical practice of Yoga, but, the true practice and my love of yoga is far more than an end point to a beautiful pose.
It is the beauty of what happens to us along the way …

I am certified in ‘Purna Yoga’, a Fusion of Iyengar and Ashtanga yoga, Kripalu’s ‘Let Your Yoga Dance’, ‘Yoga and Ayurveda’ with Matthew Remski and ‘Inner Quest’ with Don and Amba Stapleton, as well as numerous CPD’s trainings including ‘Advanced Forrest Yoga’, ‘Arco Yoga, Yoga and Thai Massage’, ‘The essence of the Bhagavad Gita’, ‘Advanced Inversions, Arm Balances’ and ‘Energetic Healing’.
My classes are inspired by all of my trainings and as a teacher I hope to enable you to strengthen to the physical, emotional and subtle energies in the body, allowing yourself to let go of what holds you back, explore, connect and discover your full potential.

I do like to challenge my students and gently encourage them to step outside of their comfort zone, as I believe this is where true growth and life begins!
I feel like I spend most of my life outside my comfort zone, a little unsure of what will unfold and where life will take me. But, it is this part of myself that pushes me to grow and to continue to live a life that I love.

I have also worked in conservation for the past 10 years and I have recently finished my MA in Anthrozoology. I have worked and volunteered in numerous organisations around the globe that strive towards creating a world that cares for nature and all of those part of it. My own vision of “Wild and Free at Heart” is more than Yoga, it is about reconnecting people to themselves, to nature and the wildness of their own hearts, in the hope to encourage each of us to be part of caring for mother nature.
My philosophy in life is very much to Live from the heart and Learn every day. And be kind to all creatures great and small of course!

I am looking forward to meeting you all this March and to quote a dear friend of mine, and fellow yogi, “Retreat life, really is the best life!!!”

See you all soon
